January 2-6, 1984:
Sloane accepted Trey's marriage proposal. Maggie, with her new look, arrived at Tyler's party with Zed. Paula sneaked out of the house, but made sure everyone heard her taped music. Trey and Sloane kept their engagement a secret. Lizbeth attended the party with Thomas but slipped off for a secret rendezvous with Jordy. An unseen Paula made her way to Tyler's party and aimed a gun at Clarissa.
January 9-13, 1984:
Matt returned with Amy and Fran for Tyler's party. Brenda was moved to a private clinic, while Ricky sent her a taped apology. Zed surprised Jordy and Lizbeth, who were kissing on the terrace at Tyler's party. Paula fired a shot just as Tyler announced his candidacy.
January 16-20, 1984:
Paula's bullet grazed Tyler's arm and lodged near Clarissa's spine. Everyone but Detective Keyes suspected the N'Shoba ambassador was the assassination target. Lizbeth feared Zed would be forced to tell the police he saw her kissing Jordy when the shot was fired. Clarissa underwent spinal surgery. Paula managed to escape the party and return home without being seen.
January 23-27, 1984:
Detective Keyes and Tyler suspected Zed shot Clarissa. Zed bribed a police captain into terminating Detective Keyes' investigation of him. Clarissa survived surgery and recovered from her wounds. The police questioned Paula, who secretly fantasized about giving Clarissa a fatal injection.
January 30-February 3, 1984:
After questioning Paula a second time about Clarissa's shooting, the police arrived at the Denning home with a seach warrant. Zed professed his innocence to a reluctant Tyler, then admitted Lizbeth and Jordy could verify his whereabouts when the shot was fired.
February 6-10, 1984:
Amy learned that Sam is her biological father. Sam offered Amy and Fran a fortune to leave Washington and never return. Paula hid a pair of broken scissors which links her to Clarissa's shooting. Det. Keyes eliminated Paula as a suspect. Wally feared Danny will cause serious trouble.
February 13-17, 1984:
Amy persuaded Fran to accept Sam's offer. Jordy arranged a skiing trip to the same lodge where Lizbeth plans to vacation. Preparing to leave for Europe, Amy ended her relationship with Matt. Zed hired someone to tail Ronnie and Danny. A jealous Wally spotted Brenda and Ricky together on a date.
February 20-24, 1984:
Fran and Amy moved to Zurich, leaving a dejected Matt behind. Lizbeth and Jordy ended up in bed together at the ski lodge. Fearing another assassination attempt, Tyler arranged armed guards for Clarissa. Thomas and Jordy came face-to-face at the lodge.
February 27-March 2, 1984:
Thomas asked Lizbeth point blank if she slept with Jordy. Ricky worried that the Cleggs will realize he was charged with terrorzing Brenda. Sloane and Trey announced their engagement. Wally suspected Brenda is sleeping with Ricky. Stafford and Zed lured theives. The police cleared Paula completely in Clarissa's shooting.
March 5-9, 1984:
Julie learned she's pregnant, but because of a condition that might induce a stroke, her doctor advised an abortion. Paula discovered Mark and Clarissa are closer than ever. Clarissa was released from the hospital. Danny offered to sell Zed a hot diamond.
March 12-16, 1984:
Clarissa and Matt realized Sam is Amy's father. Julie insisted on a second opinion before terminating her pregnancy. Ronnie vowed she wouldn't wait on Wally to decide between her and Brenda.
March 19-23, 1984:
Paula panicked when the police searched for a second bullet. Tyler learned the truth about Amy's parentage. Danny took an interest in Trey's past relationship with Kelly Harper and questioned Sugar Laine. Julie made an appointment with another doctor about her pregnancy. Paula had flashbacks of running down Dr. Parker with her car. Kelly secretly returned to Washington.
March 26-30, 1984:
Sugar told Trey that Danny is nosing around, asking questions about Kelly. Julie was devastated when a second doctor advised her to abort her baby. Zed suspected Kelly might lead him to jewels. Sloane bested Trey during a press conference. Jordy admitted he's not in love with Lizbeth. Kelly hid the fact that she has a baby.
April 2-6, 1984:
Kelly told friend Hal Dayton that her son Scotty will never know his natural father. Capt. Stafford learned someone had paid Kelly to leave town. Wally realized Brenda's new boyfriend Richard is actually Ricky Drsicoll. Jordy rebuffed Ronnie's sexual advances. Sam refused to let Julie use her trust fund to finance Tyler's campaign.
April 9-13, 1984:
Thomas gave Julie a deadline to tell Tyler about the pregnancy and its complications. Kelly decided against having Scotty christened so that there will be no records to trace. Trey was shocked at the value of the necklace Zed gave Maggie.
April 16-20, 1984:
Brenda searched for Ricky who left town before learning that he'd been cleared of robbery and kidnapping charges. Ronnie planned a date with Jordy. Hal convinced Kelly to let him arrange a christening for Scotty.
April 23-27, 1984:
Paula donated money to Tyler's campaign then pumped him about McCandless security. Ronnie juggled dates with Jordy and Wally. Ricky discovered he's no longer a wanted criminal.
April 30-May 4, 1984:
Sam learned that Zed secretly paid for Tyler's TV campaign commercials. After reading his notes about her faked agoraphobia, Paula destroyed Dr. Parker's files.
May 8-12, 1984:
Julie miscarried her baby. Brenda appeared in a newspaper photo with Wally. Kelly narrowly escaped being seen by Trey. Matt spent time with another girl but couldn't get over Amy. After plotting a smear campaign against Tyler, Trey decided to dig up Zed's past. Paula tried to dissuade Sloane's marriage plans.
May 15-19, 1984:
Trey was curious when his background investigation suggested Zed doesn't exist. Mark accused Paula of exploiting her condition to keep Sloane from getting married. Detective Keyes found Paula's broken scissors.
May 22-26, 1984:
Zed told Maggie that his real name is James Desmond. Wally refused to date Brenda. Ronnie saw Lizbeth with Jordy and became jealous. Zed gave Trey a photo of Kelly. Paula plotted to attend Trey and Sloane's wedding without being seen.
May 29-June 2, 1984:
Detective Keyes investigated Dr. Parker's sessions with Paula. Brenda arranged for Trey to visit Hal, who was hospitalized with heart problems. Paula warned Clarissa there'll be nasty gossip if Mark files for a divorce. Kelly had Scotty christened.
June 5-9, 1984:
An unseen intruder stole Scotty's christening records. Mark found Paula's test bullet which she had fired into a pillow. Kelly insisted to Hal that she has no future with Trey. Trey admired a photo of Scotty, but was unaware Scotty is his son. After realizing Paula would probably sneak out for Sloane's wedding, Detective Keyes set a trap for her.
June 12-16, 1984:
Trey and Sloane married. Paula fell into Detective Keyes' trap and was arrested for shooting Clarissa. Mark gave Paula's test bullet to Detective Keyes. Kelly watched Trey and Sloane's wedding from afar. Danny has Scotty's christening record and plans to use it for blackmail. Paula hatched a scheme to escape from jail and skip town.
June 19-23, 1984:
Paula's escape attempt failed. Zed and the police closed in on Danny. Paula's arrest prompted Trey and Sloane to cut their honeymoon short. Hal urged Kelly to leave town before the Cleggs discover she has returned. Paula underwent tests after collapsing in jail.
June 26-30, 1984:
Danny demanded big bucks from Kelly to keep quiet about Scotty's parentage. Zed vowed to kill the man responsible for the death of his late wife Jenny. Myrna witnessed an angry Kelly pointing a gun at Danny. Doctors told Paula she has a brain tumor which may have caused her violent behavior.
July 3-7, 1984:
While struggling over Scotty's baptismal certificate, Danny was killed when he shoved Kelly, causing her gun to misfire. Myrna swiped the baptismal record from an unconscious Kelly. Wally agreed to take care of Scotty, but Kelly didn't admit she's his mother. Danny bequeathed a keychain to Ronnie. Zed vowed to get Murdoch, the man who killed Zed's wife Jenny. Paula declined an operation to cure her brain tumor.
Kelly was arrested for Danny's murder.
July 10-14, 1984:
Wally and Brenda were smitten with Scotty, unaware that his mother "Gretchen" is actually Kelly Harper. Kelly was charged with first degree murder. After confessing to Dr. Parker's murder, Paula feared she'd be lobotomized then recanted the claim. Thomas realized Kelly has been visiting Hal. Kelly objected when Hal told her that Brenda wants to care for Scotty. Zed warned Ronnie might be in terrible danger because of Danny. Kelly hired Judson to defend her but refused to reveal why she struggled with Danny.
July 17-21, 1984:
Ronnie moved into the apartment above Mario's. Paula finally consented to the brain operation and underwent surgery. Later, Paula admitted to a relieved Sloane that Mrs. Mills died of heart attack, then Paula drove her car off a bridge to make the death look like an accident. Judson warned Kelly he'll drop her as a client if she doesn't tell him how Danny was blackmailing her.
July 24-28, 1984:
Paula recuperated from brain surgery but insisted she's not sorry she shot Clarissa. While searching Kelly's apartment for clues, Judson was knocked unconscious by an unseen intruder. Jordy got a job at one of Sam's warehouses, but didn't reveal his identity to co-workers Nino Vincent and Frankie Bridges, who think his name is Jay.
July 31-August 4, 1984:
Thomas broke off with Lizbeth after he suspected she's still sleeping with Jordy. Ricky and Frankie spent time together. Chip Landry reminisced about being in Vietnam. Brenda told Jordy she's aware that he had sex with Lizbeth.
August 7-11, 1984:
Zed was suspicious of Chip, who talked over old times with friend Lance Quinn. Kelly fantasized a reunion with Trey and Scotty. Chip made advances toward Ronnie. Jordy took an interest in Frankie, who has a past association with Ricky.
August 14-18, 1984:
Hal left the hospital to visit Kelly. Disguised as a nun, Myrna warned Kelly to stay clear of Trey. At the warehouse, Sam kept mum about Jordy being the boss' son. Hal agreed to Wally's request that Julie and Tyler take care of Scotty. After questioning her about Danny, Zed secretly posted Kelly's $100,000 bail bond.
August 21-25, 1984:
Kelly was released on bail after she threatened to tell the press that Myrna paid her to leave town. Ronnie sparred with Lizbeth over Chip. Frankie and Ricky agreed to keep quiet about the true nature of their relationship. Zed cautioned Ronnie to stay away from Chip.
August 27-31, 1984:
Quinn and Chip tailed Brenda to Lake Marblehead after Ronnie gave her Danny's keychain, whose stone is a real diamond. Cheetah was attracted to Ricky. Zed told Julie that his bride Jenny Markham was murdered on their wedding night. Brenda's boat overturned in the lake, then a man wearing a frogman's scuba gear attempted to drown her.
Sepetmber 3-7, 1984:
Ricky saved Brenda from the "Frogman," who snatched Ronnie's keychain and disappeared. Zed refused Julie's offer to help him find the man who killed Jenny. Frankie and Jordy kissed. Sam and Myrna hired a bodyguard to protect Brenda. Wally and Brenda reconciled when he realized how close he was to losing her.
September 10-14, 1984:
Frogman offered to sell Zed the keychain diamond. Ricky remembered that Brenda's attacker wore a ring like Quinn's. Kelly had a confrontation with Sloane while visiting Hal. A judge declared Paula competent to stand trial for Clarissa's shooting. Wally took Kelly to see Scotty at Clarissa's, then Clarissa witnessed a touching moment between the two. Tyler confronted Zed, who admitted he posted Kelly's bail.
September 17-21, 1984:
Myrna was horrified to realize Brenda is after Wally again. Thomas and Clarissa suspected there's a connection between Scotty and Kelly. Chip and Quinn seemingly disappeared. Brenda underwent hypnotherapy to regain part of her memory, but she still couldn't identify her attacker. Zed wanted to meet with Frogman.
September 24-28, 1984:
Clarissa learned that Paula thinks Myrna witnessed Danny's shooting. Thomas got closer to Kelly. Trey met Scotty but was unaware he's Scotty's dad. After he suffered a heart attack, Hal urged Kelly to tell Trey about Scotty's existence. Wally admitted he really loves Brenda. Paula agreed to give Mark a divorce.
October 1-5, 1984:
Released from the sanitarium, Paula said she wanted to live with Sloane and Trey. Kelly vanished, while Myrna received a subpoena to testify at Kelly's murder trial. Frankie slept with Jordy, whom Sam promoted. Someone stalked Ronnie.
October 8-12, 1984:
Tyler got proof that Myrna saw Kelly accidentally shoot Danny, but Kelly didn't tell Tyler that she and Danny had struggled over Scotty's baptismal record. Hal was released from intensive care. A reluctant Myrna was forced to tell the truth about Danny's killing.
October 15-19, 1984:
Myrna's testimony about Danny's shooting prompted the DA to drop murder charges against Kelly. Tyler realized Kelly and Trey are Scotty's biological parents, but promised Kelly he'll keep the information to himself. Julie flipped when Tyler told her that "Gretchen" wants her son back. Later, Julie refused to return Scotty unless she can meet his mother, ruining Kelly's plan for a quick getaway from D.C. Ronnie noticed she's being followed by someone.
October 22-26, 1984:
Trey planted spy Audrey Sims in Tyler's election headquarters. Wally rejected Brenda's suggestion that they run away together rather than face Sam and Myrna's wrath. Paula convinced herself she'll be exonerated in Dr. Parker's murder. Mark decided not to resign from office. Jordy was hospitalized after being severely beaten while saving Nino from warehouse thugs. Kelly warned Myrna she won't leave Washington unless Myrna persuades Julie to give Scotty back. Julie took Scotty and hid in a motel. Ronnie and Lizbeth's apartment was ransacked by the stalker. Myrna feared Tyler would spill the beans about Scotty's parentage. Judson persuaded old friend Senator Josh Harrington into publicly endorsing Tyler's congressional campaign.
October 29-November 2, 1984:
Myrna convinced Julie to return Scotty to his mother. Mark told Clarissa that Josh Harrington's endorsement would guarantee Tyler's election. Tipped off by Audrey Sims, Sam bribed Harrington into publicly supporting Trey's candidacy instead of Tyler's. Myrna terminated Brenda and Wally's growing romance by sending Brenda away to a French boarding school. Frankie forgave Jordy after Nino told her that Jordy saved his life. After Zed reassured her she's no longer in danger, Ronnie's stalker broke into her locker at Mario's and slashed her clothes. Thomas and Kelly shared a passionate kiss. Julie fought her growing attraction to Zed.
November 5-9, 1984:
With Harrington's support, Trey won his re-election. The McCandlesses speculated about why Harrington changed his support in the eleventh hour. Ricky found a photo of a woman who resembles Julie in Zed's desk. Zed arranged a meeting with Frogman, while Chip resurfaced with Quinn. Julie comforted a terrified Ronnie. Kelly realized she's falling in love with Thomas and decided to secretly remain in Washington.
November 12-16, 1984:
Chip and Quinn drugged Ricky after they caught him spying on them. Frankie admitted to Jordy that she and Ricky are really brother and sister. Jordy warned Sam that escalating violence at the warehouse is due to an impending labor strike. Julie went to see Zed, who was meeting with Frogman. Chip knocked Julie unconscious as she boarded Zed's yacht and locked her in a stateroom.
November 19-23, 1984:
Zed forced Quinn to admit he's the Frogman and Ronnie's stalker. Julie escaped from the stateroom and stopped Zed from killing Quinn, but Zed was seriously injured in the struggle. Chip shot and killed Quinn with a speargun, then plunged over the railing of the yacht as the police closed in. Cheetah admitted she had an affair with Chip. Tyler received an appointment to head a special crime commission investigation.
November 26-30, 1984:
Zed regained consciousness but his injuries left him paralyzed from the waist down. Chip turned himself in and admitted to the police that he killed Quinn to save Zed's life. Jordy revealed his true identity to Ricky. Cheetah experienced dizzy spells. Tyler was jealous over Julie's concern about Zed's condition. Kelly pursued a career as an artist.
December 3-7, 1984:
Myrna encouraged Ronnie to date Wally, who can't get over Brenda. After being told she won't stand trial for killing Dr. Parker and shooting Clarissa, Paula decided to write a tell-all expose of the Clegg family. Cheetah feared she might be pregnant with Chip's baby. Zed regained use of his legs and hired Chip as an assistant.
December 10-14, 1984:
Ricky revealed to Frankie that Jay is really Jordy Clegg. Ronnie stole a love letter written by Zed to Julie. Nino became manager at Corky's Bar. Julie insisted she loves no one but Tyler. Cheetah's pregnancy test was positive. Zed suspected his former father-in-law Victor Markham hired Chip to protect him.
December 17-21, 1984:
Ronnie accused Julie of loving Zed, but she denied it. Zed fired Ronnie after Julie told him that Ronnie accused them of having an affair. Artist's rep Charity Blake sold Myrna a painting at Linda Vandenburg's art gallery, but Myrna was unaware that the new artist "K" is actually Kelly. Ronnie blackmailed Zed over his feelings for Julie.
December 24-28, 1984:
Zed gave Ronnie blackmail money, but she secretly made a copy of the love letter he wrote to Julie. The Cleggs received word that Brenda and a friend ran away from the French boarding school. Trey was fascinated by K's painting, which Myrna gave him for Christmas. Paula spotted Kelly in the Vandenburg gallery.
December 31, 1984-January 4, 1985:
Ricky broke the news to Frankie that he plans to leave town for college after the New Year. Tyler and Julie discussed the possibility of adopting a baby in the near future. On the lam from boarding school, Brenda and friend Dulcie swiped a car. Kelly and Thomas enjoyed a very romantic New Year's Eve. While joy riding through France, Dulcie and Brenda car's crashed.
