TODD CURTIS
as Jordy Clegg
The son of Sam and Myrna Clegg and twin brother to Julie, Jordy (like his sister), was a bit of a black sheep. With no interest whatsoever in either politics or Clegg Industries, he spent most his idle time as an inveterate playboy, bouncing from girlfriend to the next, while attempting to seduce sexy Lizbeth Bachman into bed. After conquering her, he entered into a relationship with blue collar Frankie Bridges, but that union didn't last long either.
While working in his father's casino, Jordy met Leanne Foster, a spoiled, beautiful heiress who was in fact a poor, dying girl from Kentucky. Unlike previous his previous relationships, Jordy truly loved Leanne and spent much of his time attempting a locate a blood relative who could save Leanne's life with a bone marrow transplant. He succeeded, but then nearly died himself in a July 1986 car crash.
Depressed and disfigured from the accident, Jordy rejected Leanne, as well as his family. He moved to New York, working as an editor for Beautiful magazine, a publication owned by his mother. It was there he finally found his niche, both professionally and personally. He reunited with Leanne, only to lose her again when she died tragically in February 1986. After that, he focused his attention on Carol Greshner, the drop-dead gorgeous daughter of his family's chauffeur.
